Surrounded by evergreens and nestled in a heavily wooded setting, this dog-friendly (1 small/medium size dog considered) retreat offers the perfect blend of privacy, comfort, and outdoor adventure. Whether you are here to raft the Arkansas River, explore nearby trails, or simply relax under Colorado’s star-filled skies, you will feel right at home. 

Inside, you will find a warm and inviting living space with soaring wood ceilings, large windows, and plenty of natural light as well as a wood-burning stove is perfect for cool evenings. The cabin features two comfortable bedrooms and one full bathroom. Disclosure: A 2nd bathroom is under renovation and the listing will be updated once it is complete. The open-concept living area is perfect for gathering after a day of adventure, while the fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals easy and convenient.

There are two large bedrooms, one on each floor. Head upstairs to the loft where you will find a tv/game room complete with 2 futons for additional sleeping space. It is the perfect space to hang out, movie nights, boards games, or simply relaxing with a good book. Large windows throughout the home bring the beauty of the surrounding forest indoors and create a true mountain-lodge atmosphere.

Outside, soak your cares away in the private hot tub while enjoying the peaceful wooded surroundings. Bring one dog along so that they can enjoy the mountain getaway also. Guests will be asked to pay an additional pet fee and agree to certain requirements before receiving pet approval. With easy access to Buena Vista, the Arkansas River, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and countless activities, this cabin is the perfect basecamp for your Colorado adventure.

We are a licensed office and as such are required to provide a broker disclosure to every guest. Guests will also be required to sign a waiver/release for the hot tub whether they intend to use it or not.   If you wish to bring a dog you will need to sign a pet addendum.  Owner/Owner’s Agent reserve the right to deny your pet.  

Firearms are prohibited outside of the guest’s locked vehicle.

No trailers will be permitted on the property without written prior approval.

Events such as weddings and loud gatherings are specifically prohibited by Chaffee County. Small intimate groups of 6 or less are welcome as long as they respect the neighbors and the neighborhood.

Quiet time is 10 p.m. until 8 a.m.
